- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Right now I am very unhappy right now. I paid my gas and electric bills and a credit card bill and realized that I had better deposit a check I had for $50.00 on the same day. I know that I should have edited the payments to go thru a day or two later. But everything looked okay. The bank charged me $37.00 for overdraft because TECHNICALLY the $50 did not become available for one more day. But that's the way banks do things now. BE CAREFUL. Banks will FEE you to death. I am hoping that when I talk to the manager, she will reverse the overdraft charge.By Carol Levine, June 29, 2017
